Questionnaire for Parents or Caregivers 

This questionnaire is used with the CARS2-STD or the CARS2-HF questionnaire. Parents are asked to rate their child among dimensions of the CARS as to whether they consider the area to be problem (mild/moderate or severe) or strength now or in the past and are allowed to say they don’t know. When used to together with the clinician rating tool, the Childhood Autism Rating Scale (CARS) helps to identify children 2 years and older with Autism, specifically, distinguishing them from developmentally handicapped children who are not Autistic.
